Weight loss - in my opinion – truly is more of a mind game then a physical one
It's about You
Weight loss in my opinion – truly is more of a mind game then a physical one.
If you are consistent and always pushing yourself and using a machine or a system that has been proven successful, you will see results.
Perspective is important though. Staying positive and patient is key.
There will be times you mess up or take too many days off and you will need to re start your routine. Or days when you feel like you are doing everything right but just not seeing the results everyone else does. Those days are normal, and everyone has them.
But reminding yourself that this is a lifestyle, not a quick fix. And showing yourself your progress pictures (which I HIGHLY recommend) will help give you the bit of reassurance your mind needs to keep going.
I am a visual person, I like to see things right in front of me for me to believe it, that way I don't get fooled. This is why the progress pictures helped me feel more comfortable, like 'yep it is working' 'the hard work is going somewhere'
But more important is believing in myself. Telling myself that I 'need' to do this for me, and my family and that I CAN.
I was very lucky to have a husband who was just as supportive, and I know not everyone may have someone or that same support. That's where it's up to you to believe in yourself, to know that no matter what it takes, it's you that makes the change. It's you who stops the excuses, you who believes, and you who keeps going when you are tired and sore and wanna throw in the towel.
Change is scary, but the reward and how you feel afterward is so worth it!
So, on the note of change . . . I have been thinking of chopping my hair off for a couple weeks now. The problem is I have been growing my hair for 6 years, and ... my hair doesn't grow. Legit. It just doesn't. So, I was in my bathroom Friday night and thought 'hmm I'm gonna just chop it myself' and I did!! It was the funniest most liberating thing ever! In my opinion the sides look awesome ... the back not so much, ha-ha. But I see my amazing hairdresser on Wednesday, and she will fix me up properly.
So don't be scared of change, and don't be scared to believe in yourself.
