The Progression Swiss Arch Bar’s unique design combines the benefits of the Swiss bar (AKA football bar) and the cambered bar. The addition of a d-ring hook allows it to serve as a multi-use cable attachment. 

Swiss Bar Benefits 

Following the design of the Swiss/Football bar, this specialty barbell features three distinct angled grips on each end of its arch. During neutral-grip presses, the outermost grip targets your chest. The innermost engages your triceps, while the middle bar focuses equally on both muscle groups.  

Easy On Your Shoulders  

While those muscles do the work, your shoulders have a rest they won’t get with other bars. It’s the ideal solution for users recovering from shoulder problems who want to get back after their bench presses.   

The Cambered Advantage 

The Progression Swiss Arch Bar’s cambered center makes it ideal for several different pushing and pulling on or off the bench. You’ll have a larger range of motion at the bottom of your presses, increasing your stretch reflex so you’ll get more out of your bench presses sooner.  

Cable Ready  

This Swiss arch bar features three distinct angled grips and a central D-ring hook on top. This allows you to easily convert it into a cable machine attachment for lat pull-downs. You can also attach it to a belt squat machine. This bar’s expanded range of motion also makes it a great choice for rows - either attached or unattached to a cable.  

NOTE: The Progression Swiss Arch Bar features sleeves made of steel tubing. As a result, the sleeves will measure slightly less than 2” in diameter. Regular Olympic collars will not fit tightly unless they are modified. Alternate clips are available.
